The York Academy Foundation was established to build funds to support the on-going operations of the school and to contribute to the capital expenditures that make our school a success. As a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization, there are a variety of ways to contribute to the York Academy Foundation including: direct contributions, matching funds, stock transfers and the Educational Improvement Tax Credits (EITC) program.
Each year the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania distributed millions of dollars in tax credits to companies that support educational scholarships and opportunities throughout our region. York Academy is an approved recipient of these funds, and the school appreciates the community’s support through this program.
To date, a portion of the contributions made to the York Academy Foundation have been used to finance the Simpson Station Playground and an Artist in Residency program, which provides artist-driven cultural enrichment for all grades.
