Food Services

York Academy recognizes that wellness and proper nutrition are related to students’ physical well-being, growth, development and readiness to learn. All foods available during the school day are offered to students with consideration for promoting student health and reducing childhood obesity. Foods provided through the National School Lunch or School Breakfast Programs comply with federal nutrition standards under the School Meals Initiative.

The Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) has extended the waiver by which we may distribute our delicious, well-balanced breakfasts and lunches free to all students and children under 18 in the community for the remainder of the 2020-2021 school year.

Free grab and go meals are available for pickup at the Upper School from 12 - 1 p.m. (curbside by the cafeteria doors) on the days that school is in session. Please click here for more details.

If you have any questions regarding nutrition services at York Academy, please contact Regina Arnold, Food Services Manager, at (717) 900-5001 or rarnold@yorkarcs.org.

Free Meals are also available during the summer. Visit www.fns.usda.gov/summerfoodrocks for more information.
